Overall Maremotus is a surprisingly powerful monster who can provide an incredibly hard to crack defense if used with the right monsters. And as a bonus, Maremotus resists one of the most dominant attackers in the meta right now ( Lord Inheritor) thanks to him being of the same element, and can potentially wall a Dark VoltaiK chain for the same reason. With a combination of Turtlellion's Armor + Maremotus' Amulet, he's able to gain an absurd amount of sustain, despite it not being inherently part of his skillset, making him one of, if not THE tankiest taunt monster in the game.

This turns Maremotus into a conventional taunt tank, which wouldn't be a big deal if his relics didn't allow for him to gain a stupidly high 260K extra life whenever he's hit. This is due to the fact that if Slumster's evasion is removed, MT is also removed. This allows him to not only pair well with regular MT team comps, but also with Slumster comps. While Abomination isn't too notable, his main strength lies in his SC: MT + Taunt trait combo. While his stats and moveset can be considered above average, where this monster really stands out is in his trait.

Maremotus, the final tank of the Metropolitan Era, closes things out on a high note.
